Lawrence-Lynch Corp. is a family owned company doing business for 50 years. This fifth generation construction family originated in the 1880’s by their great-great grandfather, Daniel Grady. Daniel was an Irish immigrant who started his business paving the streets of Providence, Rhode Island with cobblestone. James H. Lynch married Grady’s daughter in 1910, founding the J.H. Lynch Company. The current Falmouth operation was founded with the purchase of the Frederick Lawrence Company in 1972 by Gerald Lynch. Today Lawrence-Lynch Corp. (a Massachusetts Corporation) and its wholly owned subsidiaries are owned by Christopher Lynch. Gerald Lynch maintains ownership of Lawrence-Lynch Materials Corp. and its wholly owned subsidiary.
